Music and Arts Camp Description
Bethany Music Center Announces Music and Arts Camp 2017 for grades 1 – 6. Camp will be held in August 2018. Students will enjoy exploring music through a variety of workshops led by Music Education Majors from Peabody Conservatory of Music and Towson University as well as high school music students from our own community in the Mt. Hebron High School district. All students will be a part of the camp chorus and have the opportunity to audition for solos and other special parts. All students will discover the building blocks of music in music theory and music education sessions. Additional workshops using fun and wacky instruments such as Ukuleles, Boom Whackers, and Unconventional Percussion are a part of this camp.
Children who want to explore other art forms during the week can enjoy some basic level dance/movement classes and art classes. Art and Dance classes are led by professional choreographer and instructor and Maryland Institute College of Art student, Liz Miller. We will showcase our Music and Art in a final showcase at the conclusion of our final day of camp.
Sibling rate for two or more children in a family $150/child
Extended Care $10/per child, per day
